Work TODAY — Terms of Use & Disclaimer

Please read carefully. By posting a job or claiming a job on Work TODAY, you agree to these terms. This is template language — it does not replace legal advice.

1. What we are

Work TODAY is an online bulletin board / marketplace. We are not an employer, not a staffing agency, not a contractor, not an insurer, and not a party to any agreement between users. We merely provide a place for one person to post a need and another person to respond.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for your own actions, safety, and decisions.

3. No background checks

We do NOT run background checks, and we do not verify identity, skills, or criminal history. You must do your own due diligence. Meet in public when possible, and tell someone where you are going.

4. Assumption of risk

You understand that working with strangers involves risk of injury, theft, damage, or non-payment. You voluntarily assume all risks.

5. Payments

Any payment agreement is strictly between the poster and the worker. We are not responsible for non-payment, low quality work, damage to property, or injury. If you choose to pay cash in person, you do so at your own risk. Listing fees paid to Work TODAY are non-refundable.

6. No warranty / Limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability will never exceed the amount you paid us in listing fees in the last 90 days.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the platform, its owner, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or your interaction with another user.

8. We can ban anyone

We reserve the right to remove any post or ban any user for any reason, including suspected scams, fraud, or abuse.

9. Safety

Never pay a poster or worker in advance for a job you have not verified. Never cash checks or transfer money on someone else's behalf. Report suspicious listings immediately.
